THE ROLE OF ECOLOGICAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE CONDITIONS OF POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the current state of development of ecological entrepreneurship and its role in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The relevance of the study is due to the catastrophic state of the environment, in connection with which the post-war reconstruction of our country should be based on the European Green Deal with the use of advanced environmental instruments. The purpose of the article is to develop ways to solve the problems of development of environmental entrepreneurship in the context of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. To achieve this goal, the study solved a number of tasks: the author defines the concept of "ecological entrepreneurship", subjects and types of ecological entrepreneurship; analyzes international and domestic experience of implementing ecological entrepreneurship; studies changes in environmental legislation aimed at supporting the "greening" of business; identifies the problems of ecological modernization of Ukrainian business and suggests ways to solve them. The study used general scientific methods of cognition: induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, association and analogy. The study found that post-war reconstruction should be based on the European Green Deal with the use of advanced environmental tools. The role of environmental entrepreneurship is extremely important in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. To date, the development of environmental entrepreneurship is slow due to low business awareness of modern environmental technologies, lack of adequate government support, unpredictable situation in Ukraine, lack of sufficient capital, fewer customers, disrupted supply chains, and high taxes and fees. The solution to these problems requires the following measures: providing business with advice on environmental modernization of production in accordance with the requirements of EU legislation, ensuring access to financial instruments and funds of the European Union on equal terms with other European companies, attracting non-repayable financial assistance and technologies for environmental modernization of enterprises, providing affordable loans (at 0%) or favorable lending programs, localizing equipment production in Ukraine, supporting exports of products, etc. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the obtained results by domestic enterprises for the ecological modernization of their activities in the conditions of post-war recovery.
