DIGITALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY OF UKRAINE IN THE CONDITIONS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of digitalization of the economy of Ukraine in the conditions of European integration. Today, the processes of global digitalization cover all aspects of the economic, social and cultural life of society and create prerequisites for the transformation of traditional economic systems. Digitization acts as a catalyst for the innovative development of the economy and society. Technological change has led to opportunities such as flexibility, reactivity, and product customization, but along with it, new obstacles have emerged, such as rapid technological transformations, high levels of complexity, changing customer preferences, and regulatory requirements. Recently observed increasing the relevance of the study of the main determinants of the development of global digitalization. It was determined that the Ukrainian society in the conditions of European integration is gradually integrated into the global digitalization processes, but the least developed aspects of the digitalization of the government sphere, the inclusion of management, access to technologies, as well as the riskiness of investing in the digital sphere in Ukraine are the least developed. Strengthening the digitalization of the above-mentioned aspects, as well as strengthening the rights of protection of private investors in the field of the digital industry, will allow strengthening the trends of digitalization, which will become the basis for further enhanced economic cooperation with the EU. We have found that digital platforms facilitate transactions, networking and information exchange, especially between the authorities of certain countries, as well as between citizens of certain countries. It is also worth noting that more developed countries demonstrate better indicators of integration processes, which makes it necessary to take into account the patterns of their development in different countries. The growth of the digital economy contributes to the emergence of many new economic opportunities, in particular, integration ones. In addition, in my opinion, it is important not to limit this process, because excessive restrictions of Internet technologies in a country can significantly affect the international position and the desire of countries to create integration associations with this country.
