PROBLEMS OF ENSURING THE INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS OF DOMESTIC ENTERPRISES: MACROECONOMIC ASPECTS

Abstract

In the conditions of modern economic development, investment attraction is one of the main ways and sources of development and expansion of enterprises. Investment attractiveness is formed by a set of indicators of the financial and economic activity of enterprises and the prospects of obtaining profits from the infusion of investment resources. Investment resources are needed for the enterprise's investment activities, the formation, and financing of which are carried out at the expense of external and internal sources. The main difficulty in researching the problem of investment attractiveness in the context of sustainable development is that it is impossible to limit the consideration of only economic factors without considering environmental and social determinants of development. The article examines the macroeconomic factors of forming the investment attractiveness of enterprises and ensuring the country's investment climate. The main problems and influence of external investment attraction factors on the effective functioning of domestic enterprises were studied. The relevance of this issue is because, in modern business conditions, most enterprises need to attract additional investment resources to carry out their activities. And the investor, in turn, must identify a potential object for investing resources and focus on the investment attractiveness of the enterprise. The problems of ensuring foreign investments in domestic enterprises are identified and Ukraine's level of investment attractiveness is analyzed. The dynamics of the inflow of foreign investments were analyzed and the factors affecting their reduction were determined. The strengths and advantages of investing in domestic enterprises to reduce the consequences of Russian military aggression are highlighted. Even as Ukraine continues its efforts to retake Russian-occupied territories, the Ukrainian government, its allies, international financial institutions, and think tanks around the world plan to manage and finance their recovery in the months immediately following the war and their long-term reconstruction and modernization. Although the length of the war remains uncertain, now is the time to start planning for Ukraine's future. Based on this study, the prospects of Ukraine's investment attractiveness in modern conditions are highlighted.
