INNOVATIVE TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS MARKET OF UKRAINE ON THE EXAMPLE OF LEADING COMPANIES
Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of trends in the domestic telecommunications market. The place of the telecommunications market in the economy of the countries of the world is defined, as well as the role of telecommunications in the life of an individual. The typical structure of the construction of a cellular network was studied, the order of its operation and the place of each element in ensuring the high efficiency of its functioning were considered. The rate of development of the domestic telecommunications market was analyzed based on the data of the State Statistics Service. A parallel is drawn with the place of the telecommunications market in the structure of the formation of the gross domestic product of Ukraine and highly developed countries. The dynamics of changes in the volume of capital investments in the economy of Ukraine have been systematized, and trends in changes in the volumes of capital investment in the direction of "Information and telecommunications" for 2018-2021 have been determined. The Report "On the work of the National Commission that carries out state regulation in the field of communication and informatization" was analyzed, based on which conclusions were drawn about the state of the telecommunications market by the end of 2021. The dynamics of changes in the structure of revenues from the provision of telecommunication services for 2018-2021 were studied. It has been established that in the near future the demand for fixed telephone communication will be almost completely replaced by mobile communication and the opportunities provided by the use of the Internet. The leaders of the telecommunications market of Ukraine are singled out, and it is also established what obstacles companies face when entering this market. Innovative trends and the procedure for their implementation were determined using the example of the leader of the domestic telecommunications market – Kyivstar PJSC. The areas in which the company focuses its activities are studied, in particular: Big Data, industrial IoT, cloud technologies, mobile financial services and solutions in the field of E-Health, convergent services based on mobile, fixed data transmission, etc. The advantages of Kyivstar's strategic partnership with large IT companies, in particular with Microsoft Corporation, have been identified. The order of operation of the separate division of the company responsible for innovative activity is given, and the main tasks assigned to it are also defined. The strategic prospects of the company's innovative activity were established, with an amendment to the requirements formed by the military actions in Ukraine.
