MODERN ASPECTS OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE
Abstract
At present, it can be argued that in today’s globalized society, it is precisely these countries that benefit most from those who unite to achieve common interests and improve the economy of each country. Improvements in the development of agricultural enterprises are associated with the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, which allowed enterprises to increase the production of plant and animal products. It is noted that the priority area of Ukraine’s merchandise exports is crop production, because our country is one of those with the best geographical and climatic conditions that have potential for the agricultural sector. The article analyzes the dynamics of exports of cereals and legumes and flour from Ukraine during 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 on the basis of analytical data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, formed relevant conclusions on exports of cereals in 2022. The paper singles out the grain crops that have the largest share in exports in 2021 and the TOP-3 partner countries with the maximum need for these crops. To boost the country’s economy, it is appropriate to pay attention to the export of cereals such as wheat, corn, barley, which have the largest share in exports in recent years. Taking into account the livestock industry, the reasons for the decrease in livestock production are indicated. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, an analysis of the dynamics of farm animals was conducted, the rating of regions by the volume of industrial milk production was reflected, the reasons for changes in the production of basic types of dairy products were substantiated. Today, Ukraine needs urgent and clear goals for the development of the livestock industry, which will further strengthen the country’s economy, provide a larger population with dietary, vitamin and high-calorie foods, as well as expand its range of dairy products for export. At the same time, when exporting agricultural products, adhere to all sanitary and phytosanitary measures, which first of all guarantee that consumers are supplied with safe and high-quality products.
