UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF CHANGING THE WORLD ORDER: ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES

Abstract

In the article the author explores the main aspects of modern efforts, in particular on the part of the Russian Federation, to change the existing world order against the background of armed aggression against Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the economic consequences of such actions at both the global and national levels. The methodological basis of the study are the works of modern and foreign experts on world issues, as well as analytical materials on the political, economic and social consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. To solve this goal we used the following forms, methods and research methods: as historical – to study the processes of origin, formation and development of the world order, abstract-logical method for theoretical generalization and formulation of research conclusions and more. The author determined that there are at least two different views on the substantive part of the world order. First, the world order is a struggle of empires, and second, a clash of civilizations, while unifying is the idea of a country's dominance in international systems. The paper highlights such areas of modern research as the theoretical foundations of the world order, analysis of interpretations of the world order and its key characteristics, signs of radical change in the world order and more. The author notes that the study of the world order, in particular the functioning of its international systems, it is based on both forms of dominance and the place of a particular country in the international system. The paper notes that historically, the Russian Empire in certain geopolitical conditions has repeatedly tried to change the world order in their favor, and the theater of action for this purpose found Ukraine. The article emphasizes that in general the actions of the political leadership of the Russian Federation are predictable, because in their speeches Russian politicians and officials do not hide the direction of their further actions, in particular regarding the aggression against Ukraine. The author substantiates the opinion that the modern change of the world order takes place in several stages – it was preceded first by a coronavirus infection, and later, in fact, a full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The author notes the high probability of the influence of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian state on the existing political, economic and social trends, which will be felt for many years to come. The article analyzes the main economic consequences of Russia's armed aggression, in particular in the areas of energy and food security in the global economy. Attention is also paid to the consequences of such actions for the national economy, as the armed aggression of the northern neighbor against our country has already led to significant losses to Ukraine's economy, including complete or partial destruction of infrastructure, mass export of grain by Russians. Among the practical results of the study is the author's proposal on the need to adhere to the philosophy of stability of the state and society, including effective countering of threats and adaptation to changes in crisis, because to anticipate the full range of consequences for the world. today it is extremely difficult. According to the author, the destruction of a large part of industrial facilities, as well as housing and transport infrastructure will require not so much their restoration as the construction of a new, modern and technological component, according to the latest world, including European experience. It is the legal, economic and technological compatibility and standardization with the countries of the European Union that will accelerate the development of Ukraine's industrial potential.
