ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPLEMENTING THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Nowadays, the issue of a sustainable, self-sufficient society has become very popular among the public and the government, given their legislative activities. These issues are becoming increasingly crucial for business and the business environment. That necessitated clarification of the theoretical foundations of entrepreneurship to implement the concept of sustainable development. The research aimed to clarify the essence of entrepreneurship in terms of information transformation, its role, and priority areas of reform in Ukraine to ensure sustainable economic development. To achieve the purpose of the study, we used the method of terminological analysis, which clarifies the essence of the concept of entrepreneurship, analysis, and synthesis. The use of analysis and synthesis methods has identified business development problems in Ukraine, which hinder the sustainable development of the economy. According to the research results, the essence of the category "entrepreneurship" is clarified based on a synthesis of functional and subjective approaches in interpreting the concept. Entrepreneurship refers to the continuous adaptive innovation of business entities based on a constant cognitive process and the complexity of the division of labor to find opportunities and market niches to create new values. Based on the theoretical generalization, the key characteristics of the entrepreneur are identified by groups of economic, social and psychological. Analyzing Ukraine's position in achieving sustainable development goals has identified priority areas for entrepreneurship reform to ensure sustainable economic development. This direction is to increase the efficiency of resource management of business entities by ensuring energy efficiency at the micro and macro levels. The second priority task in managing administrative activity is the provision of an effective mechanism of state regulation. The implementation of this mechanism is to be blamed. Still, it is directed at the state stimulating the subjects of entrepreneurship to achieve sustainable development goals of innovative technologies.
