ФУНДАМЕНТАЛЬНІ ЗАСАДИ «ТЕТЧЕРИЗМУ» ЯК ОСНОВИ СТІЙКОГО ЕКОНОМІЧНОГО ЗРОСТАННЯ

Анотація

Стаття присвячена дослідженню економічної політики Маргарет Тетчер. Проаналізовано історичні передумови запровадження політики тетчеризму, зокрема, перехід влади від лейбористського уряду до консервативного уряду, який очолила Маргарет Тетчер. Детально проаналізовано ключові реформи, завдяки яким уряду М. Тетчер вдалося домогтися стабільного економічного зростання: суттєве скорочення публічні видатків, зниження показників інфляції, зменшення ставок податку на доходи фізичних осіб, приватизації та ін. Проаналізовано динаміку економічних показників Великобританії у 1970 – 1990 рр., серед яких: рівень безробіття, темп росту реального ВВП, темп інфляції, граничні ставки податку на доходи та ін. Виявлено, що завдяки проведеним реформам, уряду Маргарет Тетчер вдалося вивести країну з депресії, повернути соціальну та політичну стабільність та забезпечити соціально-економічне зростання.
