SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP AS AN ELEMENT OF SUSTAINABLE CITY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problems of implementing the sustainable development of cities and regions as an objective necessity of the country's development. It was determined that the paradigm of the development of society, under modern economic conditions, was called "sustainable development", which involves, first of all, the interaction of nature and society. It is maintaining the balance between the environment and human economic activity that provides sustainable economic development of both the city and the country as a whole. The problem of ensuring sustainable development has been in the center of close attention of scientists and practitioners for many years, but due to its complexity, multifacetedness, importance and degree of influence on the development of society, many of its questions remain open and require further research. At this time, even a unified attitude towards the phenomenon of sustainable development has not been formed, until now there is no unified approach to the interpretation of the concept of "sustainable development" as an economic category. Attention is focused on the fact that the effectiveness and efficiency of labor relations on labor issues lies in the plane of a harmonious combination of the interests of an individual, society and the state. It is noted that in the sustainable development of the city, the right and interest of a person in labor matters play a primary role. However, modern mechanisms of their implementation require the development of principles and effective principles of partnership in society, between individual employees and employers, as well as at the city, region, and state levels. The goals of sustainable development, UN definitions for Ukraine were analyzed, the UNESCO monuments located on the territory of Ukraine were identified, the priority of the development of social partnership was determined, the main directions of ensuring the sustainable development of cities and regions of Ukraine, determined by the World Commission on Environment and Development, were outlined. It has been proven that promoting the socio-economic development of territories as a result of the interaction of representatives of international organizations with the population by choosing the best environmental practices with the involvement of local communities in decision-making contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage and the improvement of human health and safety.
