ANALYSIS OF THE STATE OF ECONOMIC SECURITY OF UKRAINE AND PRIORITIES FOR ITS STRENGTHENING
Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the existing problems and priorities for strengthening the economic security of Ukraine. The economic security of the country is a certain state of the economy in which the government can neutralize the effect of exogenous and endogenous dangers in order to achieve strategic development goals. The state of economic security of the country was analyzed and trends in the development of the Ukrainian economy were established. It has been determined that today in Ukraine negative development trends prevail regarding foreign economic, political, social, demographic, financial, investment, and other areas, which in turn have a negative impact on the country's economic security, because they are its components. To reduce the negative effect and further sustainable development of the country's economy, the government must constantly support all spheres of public life of citizens, create a clear legislative framework, attract investments and implement programs of state support for different segments of the population. The main principles of ensuring the economic security of Ukraine are identified: the rule of law; observance of the balance of economic interests of the individual, family, society, state; the timeliness of the implementation of the necessary measures to avert probable threats to national economic interests; the priority of peaceful measures in resolving internal and external conflicts of an economic and political nature; integration of national economic security with international. When studying the problem of ensuring the economic security of the country, we should keep in mind its systemic nature, which on the one hand covers the subsystems of various spheres of society, which also have a certain internal structure, and on the other hand are a subsystem of international economic security. Today it should be noted that the problem of ensuring the economic security of the country and the neutralization of exogenous and endogenous factors that reduce its level have not been sufficiently developed in the scientific, political and economic life of Ukraine, and requires further research.
