STRATEGIC PRIORITIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN NATURE PROTECTED AREAS OF UKRAINE

Abstract

Tourist industry is one of the main industries that influences on the general state and trends of development of the world economy. According to the World Tourism Organization, tourism within nature protected areas is one of the five main strategic directions of development of tourist industry. The recreational potential of the nature protected areas of Ukraine creates unique opportunities for the development of highly effective recreational activities within them. Actuality of research theme is conditioned the necessity of forming of effective mechanism of strategic management development of tourism in nature protected areas. The purpose of the article is determination of strategic priorities of development of tourism in nature protected areas of Ukraine. In the article strategic priorities of development of tourism in nature protected areas of Ukraine are grounded. It has been established that the most common approach to planning of development of tourism within nature protected areas is planning in the interests of separate nature protected institutions of different types, integrated into the system of regional and national planning. The components of sustainable development are presented, the essence, types and principles of sustainable tourism are revealed. The conditions of ecologically balanced development of territories and objects of the nature reserve fund are analyzed. The main strategic purposes of the development of the sphere of tourism of Ukraine are outlined, taking into account the modern state and trends. Strategic measures for the development of tourism in nature protected areas of Ukraine are offered. The approaches and methods of management of recreational activities in territories and objects of the nature reserve fund are systematized. The importance of providing of effective interaction of legal, organizational, economic and financial mechanisms of state regulation of tourist activity within the framework of strategic development of tourism in nature protected areas of Ukraine is grounded. Realization of strategic priorities of development of tourism in nature protected areas of Ukraine will allow the rational use of recreational and tourist resources, create new workplaces, fill up the budgets at various levels, get other relevant social and economic effects.
