THE LABOR MARKET IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF MARITAL STATE: CURRENT TRENDS AND STABILIZATION MECHANISMS
Abstract
The full-scale aggression against Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, led to a change in the structure of the economy and created a number of challenges that required every citizen, business entity and the state to react quickly and adapt to new challenges in order to maintain their front. Against the background of the influence of many factors, the situation in the labor market has changed significantly, which is a sensitive indicator of the changes taking place. Therefore, the need to solve problems in the process of regulating the labor market in the agricultural sector as a strategically important sector of the economy determines the purpose of the study to assess its trends in the context of war and develop mechanisms for its stabilization. The methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach to the study of the problem and the dialectical method, which allowed a comprehensive approach to establishing current trends and identifying mechanisms for stabilizing the functioning of the labor market. Economic and statistical methods were used to assess the state and trends in the labor market in the agricultural sector. The mechanisms of labor market stabilization in the agricultural sector of the economy are outlined using the method of generalization. These methods are used in interconnection and interdependence. The study determines that the outbreak of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine led to a decrease in the level of social and labor relations in the national labor market and required enterprises to be flexible and adapt to the modern realities of life. The total cost of war damage to the agricultural sector of the economy is analyzed. The main factors that influence the destabilization of the labor market in the agricultural sector of the economy are systematized. In order to assess the situation in the labor market, the dynamics of the number of vacancies, the number of persons with the status of unemployed is studied, and the number of applicants for one position is determined. The mechanisms for ensuring the sustainability and adaptability of the labor market in the agricultural sector of the economy to function in the conditions of post-war reconstruction are outlined. The practical value of the study lies in the fact that the main provisions, recommendations and conclusions set forth in the paper can be used in scientific research related to the further development of directions for stabilizing the labor market in the agricultural sector of the economy.
